Ritmo & Romance, coming to the Santa Fe College Fine Arts Hall Sunday, May 17 at 4 p.m., is the culminating performance of the Brazilian Music Institute, an intensive week of instruction with outstanding Brazilian musicians presented by the University of Florida School of Music through a collaboration with Broward College May 11-15, 2015 at Broward College. The concert in Gainesville features special artist Antonio Adolfo with Brazilian Music Institute guest artists Hermógenes Araújo, Alexander Crook, Larry Crook, Beatriz Malnic, Ulisses Rocha, James Sain and Welson Tremura, as well as selected Brazilian Music Institute participants. Join us in celebrating the diversity of Brazilian culture with sensual rhythms and romantic lyrics.
