Students from LAS, MDP, and TCD named stand-out presentations in fieldwork research

Each year, to culminate their research funded by the Field Research Grant, students from Latin American Studies, the Masters in Development Practice Program, and the Tropical Conservation and Development Program gather and present their projects in a public forum. This is an opportunity for them to practice research communications skills and public speaking skills, as they must explain their research to any member of the community who attends the Fieldwork Festival.
At the end of the event, a panel of judges selects the winners across the three categories (LAS, MDP, and TCD) as well as a grand prize.
