The University of Florida Center for Latin American Studies invites applications from highly motivated students for the Master of Arts in Latin American Studies degree program (MALAS).
The UF Center for Latin American Studies is one of the top-ranked and oldest centers in the world, renowned for its richness and breadth of intellectual life sustained through dialogue among diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and identities.
Center faculty lead interdisciplinary research and graduate training programs on 13 specializations.
Consisting of 30 credit hours, the MALAS program allows students to design an individualized, interdisciplinary plan of study that draws on the social and natural sciences, the humanities, and the professional schools.
The program connects students with the innovative research and teaching of more than 190 affiliate and Center-based faculty members across the University of Florida.
