This year marks the third annual South Florida launch of the UF Center for Latin American Studies Latin American Business Environment Report. This event serves as part of the Center’s outreach mission to bring research out of the University and serve as a valuable resource to those working in or doing business with Latin America.
The report was featured at Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce’s 11th Annual International Business Forum. We are grateful for our continued partnership with the Chamber. Led by Dr. Brian Gendreau, Director of the Latin American Business Environment Program and Clinical Professor of Finance at the UF Warrington College of Business, the conversation focused on the business and economic outlook in the region for 2018.
Members of the Coral Gables Chamber, UF alumni, and other members of the Miami community attended the event. We were also pleased to have in attendance Latin American Studies Alumni Board members Meredith Fenson, Jose Sariego, and Francisco Santeiro.
The Center owes special thanks to the University of Florida Coral Gables Office for providing the venue and for their gracious hospitality. We would also like to thank Poblete Tamargo LLP and Nero Immigration Law for their sponsorship of the event.
